The ASYD Institutes are designed for frontline staff, site leaders, program directors and others who want to deliver high-quality, meaningful and engaging youth development and out-of-school time programs to school-age youth.
This experiential youth development-focused learning opportunity will give participants a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in best practices in youth development while building relationships, networking and identifying how they will recreate these experiences back in their programs. The full-day event will be high-energy and high-involvement, engaging participants in their own learning and growth from the moment they enter the door.
Participants who attend the ASYD Institute will...
- experience high-quality youth development best practices;
- gain skills in implementing these best practices in youth development;
- understand why these best practices in youth development work;
- build community with other afterschool professionals; and
- commit to action utilizing the takeaways from the event.
