Before You Go

Youth Waiver

We must have a waiver on file for EVERY youth who attends the Youth Summit. All youth should be pre-registered and bring a waiver signed by their parent/legal guardian in order to be granted access to the Youth Summit venue. Youth will not be permitted to attend without submitting a waiver! 

Arrival, Check-In & Logistics

The DFCS-PCS Youth Summit will be held at the John C. Maxwell Leadership Center (2050 Sugarloaf Circle, Duluth, GA 30097) from 10 am – 3 pm. Doors open at 8:45 am, and all participants should arrive no later than 9:45 am in order to get checked in prior to our start.

In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and keep all participants safe, properly worn, well-fitting masks will be required of ALL participants.

9:15 - 9:45 am Check In (Vestibule)

10 - 11 am Opening Session (Worship Center)

11:15 am - 12:15 pm Workshop Session 1

12:15 - 12:50 pm Lunch - Chick-fil-A (Worship Center)

1 - 2 pm Workshop Session 2 

2:10 - 3 pm Closing Session (Worship Center)

Keynote: Nathan Harmon

Nathan Harmon is an international speaker and the founder of Your Life Speaks. Nathan speaks at Universities, public and private schools, conferences, retreats and many other venues coast to coast. He was recognized as the Top Booked School Speaker in 2017 and 2018. Since 2017, Nathan spoke in more than 1,100 schools. 

Nathan is married to his amazing wife Alexis and is blessed with two children, Ashton and Juilianna. Your Life Speaks was born from Nathan's desire to see every person recognize their potential and realize they are more than their difficult past. His energetic and powerful messages resonate with all age groups, and he is beyond passionate about people and encouraging lifelong change.

Nathan has a weekly podcast Real Life, is writing his first book and will be working with a documentary this year about the world wide issue of suicide.
