2024 Connections Matter Virtual Trainings
The connections we have to others are more important than we ever believed. Science tells us that relationships have the power to shape our brains and help us learn, work, and parent better. When we experience tough times, relationships help us heal. With each connection, we develop a healthier stronger community. Connections Matter is a training designed to engage community members in building caring connections to improve resiliency, prevent childhood trauma, and understand how our interactions with others can support those who have experienced trauma.
Resilient Gwinnett offers Connections Matter trainings several times a year; these trainings are identical, and participants should only register for one.
Dates: March 12, July 9, November 12
Time: 8:30 am - 12:30 pm
Location: Virtual via Zoom
Cost: FREE
Registration is for one person only, and we respectfully request that the link is not shared with anyone.
This training requires a minimum of 10 participants per virtual event. If there are not at least 10 people registered for an event, it will be canceled. If you are signed up for a training that is canceled, we will reach out to you the day before to let you know and will offer to move your registration to another training date.
Registration for each training session will close when our limit of 50 participants has been met or at 5 pm one week prior to the training (whichever comes first).
