GUIDE is excited to offer Youth Mental Health First Aid on May 30, 2024 to Gwinnett County Public Schools!

The training will be held from 8 am - 5 pm at 750 South Perry Street, Suite 231, Lawrenceville, GA 30046.

Youth Mental Health First Aid is designed to teach parents, family members, caregivers, teachers, school staff, peers, neighbors, health and human services workers, and other caring citizens how to help an adolescent (age 12-18) who is experiencing a mental health or addictions challenge or is in crisis. Youth Mental Health First Aid is primarily designed for adults who regularly interact with young people. Prior to the course, participants will receive instructions for completing a brief pre-test online.

Lunch is not provided, but there will be a 1 hour break in the schedule. 

The deadline to register is May 16 at 5 pm or when our capacity limit of 30 attendees is reached.
