Join Us for Youth Mental Health First Aid!
Youth Mental Health First Aid is designed to teach parents, family members, caregivers, teachers, school staff, peers, neighbors, health and human services workers, and other caring citizens how to help an adolescent (age 12-18) who is experiencing a mental health or addictions challenge or is in crisis. Youth Mental Health First Aid is primarily designed for adults who regularly interact with young people. Prior to the course, participants will receive instructions for completing a brief pre-test online.
Dates: September 28 (Registration closes on September 20), January 25 (Registration closes on January 17), April 26 (Registration closes on April 18)
Time: All sessions are 8 am - 5 pm
Location: Don't Make It Weird (554 W Main Street, Suite 1100, Buford, GA 30518)
Cost: FREE
All training sessions are identical, and participants should only register for one day. Registration closes at 5 pm EST on the dates indicated above. Lunch will be provided.
